From beach bach to family home

This was Glenn’s’ personal project. Glenn and his wife Fiona brought a small Kaka Point crib back in 2009. This was the perfect one bedroom cosy home. There was always the plan to extend onto this in time, but the news that twins were to join the family in 2013 really got the project moving! Extending and matching to an original 1960’s home

Our clients had strong specifics to what they wanted. A bigger home that included all the features of the existing. This beautiful 1960's home had the original rimu flooring, wooden windows, featured tiled ceilings, custom vertical shiplap cladding and many more original features. By extending the home and restoring what they had already, the result is a wonderfully, warm family home with such amazing features you feel relaxed the moment you step in.
